ABOUT US
Southwood is encompassed by Torrance Blvd. on the north, Hawthorne Blvd. on the east, Sepulveda Blvd. on the south, and the Torrance city limits on the west.

The general purpose of the Association is to provide a voice in the City of Torrance for the approximately 2,200 households in the area; to provide information pertinent to maintaining individual properties and overall property values; and to keep membership informed on affairs of the elected officials of the city and various departments concerned with the public well-being.
OUR COMMUNITY
The Southwood Homeowners Association was incorporated on August 19, 1976.
Our mostly single-family-residence homes date back to the early 1950's.

OUR CITY
Torrance covers roughly 21 square miles and is situated in south western Los Angeles County, bounded by the Pacific Ocean on the west. Incorporated in 1921, the population of Torrance is 146,860. Torrance is the eighth largest city in Los Angeles County and the 33rd largest city in California.
